Last night I was brought back home to the magic of the garden rake. While watching a Gardener's Diary taped on our TIVO off HGTV, my husband commented how it would be nice to have more gardens in our yard similar to the ones on the show. I commented back that the ones we have are so hard for me to keep up with. The gentleman on the show was using a garden rake to loosen up the weeds and I commented that maybe I should try that out in our rose bed as the weeds were still overtaking that area and I hadn't had a chance to get it all weeded yet. My hubby walked out into the back yard and no more than one half hour later, the garden was perfect, no weeds. All with the garden rake, my neglected friend. I will be sure to pick him up more often from now on.
