THURSDAY JUNE 19, 2008 Building a new garden Today was a productive day, a small pondless waterfall by the side of my front porch was converted from rocks back to a small planting area in the span of less than 6 hours! Thanks to the help of a few strong guys who empied the rocks out in 15 minutes. I had been slowly moving the rocks myself for more than 2 hours, piling them on the back flatbed on our golf cart and driving them out into the woods and tossing them in a natural burm that was created to stop the overflowing water. |

![]() | The new garden is now planted with two miniature Hosta called "Mouse Ears" that are absolutely adorable, two coral bells with beautiful maroon leaves, two barrenwort plants, two very cool veronica called birthday candles, and a small border of pink impatiens . They cost more than your average hosta at 24.95 a plant at my local nursery but they are just cute as a bug in that small spot. In the center of the garden is a bird bath. | ||
