Inspiration
One of the things I love about summer is not only being able to work in my garden, but also in delighting in enjoying the efforts of others. Each year, I get excitement when I see the 'garden walk' signs appear in my town. Being able to walk through and enjoy the secret gardens of others is a day of excitement. No matter how beautiful I think my garden is, I'm sure to find inspiration and joy in looking at the efforts of others. I heard a gardener say once, 'I may never be able to paint artwork or have the talent to play a musical instrument, but being able to have a garden is a way that I can make something beautiful too." I think that is what I count on every time I slow the car down to look at a beautiful garden or get to enjoy a garden walk! Their 'artwork' is my inspiration!
